Edit a scanned PDF
A scan is just a picture of a page. Blueberry Shake reads it with OCR on your own device and rebuilds it into text, tables, pictures, lines and checkboxes, in a font built from the scan's own letters.

How to edit a scanned PDF
- Open blueberryshakepdf.com and drop your PDF on the page, or choose Open document.
- Wait a moment while the scanned pages are rebuilt into text, tables and pictures.
- Click into any line and type. New text matches the look of the scan.
- Choose Download to save the finished PDF to your device.
What you get
- Text keeps its size, weight and color. Ruled grids become real tables.
- Photos, logos and stamps become separate pictures. Barcodes stay whole.
- Tilted pages are straightened.
- Letters the OCR is unsure of are drawn from the scan's own ink, so the page always reads as printed.
- For scans that carry a hidden OCR text layer, turn on Open as a scanned document to rebuild them from the page images.
Questions
Is my scan uploaded for OCR?
No. OCR runs in your browser with Tesseract. The file never leaves your device.
Can I open a photo of a document?
Yes. PNG and JPG files open the same way as scanned PDFs.
Does it use AI to rewrite my document?
No. There is no generative AI. The same file always gives the same result, and nothing is invented.
